Ibrahim Abu Shareb
Ibrahim was born in 1969 in Hura. After completion of high school in Rahat, he obtained an undergraduate degree in English and Hebrew Literature and a teaching certificate from Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Ibrahim taught elementary and high school in Lakiya and also served as the coordinator for Perach – the Student Tutorial Project – at Ben Gurion University. Ibrahim returned to school and obtained an undergraduate degree with honors from the Social Work department. In addition he holds a Masters degree from Clark University (Worcestor, MA).
From 1997 – 2002, Ibrahim was in charge of the Youth Development Division, continuing with this work in community centers under the auspices of the Ministry of Education. From 2002 – 2007, he served as the director of the Kseifa Community Center. He joined NISPED-AJEEC in 2007 as the director of The Tent – our flagship volunteer center
